Fishing Carnival @ Pengkalan Pinang Penanjong Beach
Fishing Carnival 2010 was organized by Association of Youth in Kampong Penanjong or Persatuan Pemuda Pemudi Kampong Penanjong (PERDA). The event was held at Pengkalan Pinang Penanjong Beach. Estimated 80+ participants from all Brunei districts participated in this fishing competition. The event was divided into two categories; Individual category & Group Category (with maximum of three people per group).
Other than fishing competition, the organizer also provide other games for visitors & family to join like: Fishing Fake Fish, Bottle Fishing, Sand Castle Building (for Kids) and many more

Go-Kart Race in conjunction of 40th anniversary renaming capital city from Bandar Brunei to Bandar Seri Begawan
A go-kart race in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the renaming of Bandar Brunei to Bandar Seri Begawan was held on 30th & 31st October at Jln Bendahara car park in the capital. Marking the vibrant official opening, Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd.) Dato Paduka Seri Hj Halbi Hj Mohd Yussof, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs and guest of honour for the event paid a visit to the bustling car park along Jalan Bendahara where the main event was held.
28 participants from Malaysia and Brunei took part in this event. First place to fifth place winners received trophies. Moreover, the first place took home $800, second claimed $600, third place won $400 and fourth and fifth place winners bagged $200 each. Other activities involved, a colouring competition for children, the "strongest man challenge" in which volunteers had to lift weights to win prizes, a "modify and dress up your car" competition which started on the 29th.
