"
Fourteen participants from the media and freelance photographers attended the Professional Photo Workshop conducted by the French Photographer, Adeline Bommart and Tasha Ong, a Bruneian photographer based in Paris, France.

The workshop took place at the Alliance Francaise building in Kiarong Sunday.

The morning session, held from 9am to 12pm, was merely theory presentations where participants were shown some historical, contemporary as well as surreal photos with different styles of photography developed by versatile photographers in the late 1930s till the present.

In the afternoon session, from 2pm to 5pm, participants were asked to take some photos with a specific theme and ended with an open discussion.

Adeline Bommart graduated from I'Ecole des Arts Décoratifs de Paris and collaborated with the Associated Press, Reuters and various other media agencies including newspapers and magazines. Adeline is now focusing more on industrial, architectural and urban themes.

Tasha Ong, a Bruneian graduate from Brown University, was awarded second place for Advertising Photography in the non-professional category during last year's International Photography Awards.

She, however, specialises in studio and staged photography."
